Updated Outdoor Signage for Huntington Ingalls Industries
When Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) wanted new outdoor signage for their building in Fairfax, Virginia, they turned to a company they had worked with before—Legendary Custom Signs & Graphics. HII enlisted the Legendary Signs team to replace the small sign on their building with a much larger sign that could be seen from further than just the parking lot.
The new sign would be facing a major local parkway for maximum visibility and be placed on top of their building. Huntington Ingalls Industries is the largest military shipbuilding company in the United States. They are also a provider of professional services to partners in government and related industries. They are ranked No. 371 on the Fortune 500. Their headquarters is in Newport News, Virginia.
Legendary Custom Signs & Graphics had previously rebranded the company’s existing interior signage in the same building a little over a year ago. In addition to redoing all of the interior signage, Legendary Signs provided new signage for an entire floor expansion in the same building.
Using the company’s existing logo, the Legendary Signs team provided the following services for this client:
While the client initially wanted to replace their existing sign with a larger version and relocate it on top of their building, county sign code had changed since they installed their previous sign. Their original sign had an internally illuminated cabinet with a white illuminated background, which the county no longer allows.
Legendary Signs had to redesign the new signage to meet updated county requirements and stay within size limitations. As a result, Huntington Ingalls Industries’ new signage provides better visibility, is up to code, and gives the company the signage they want to represent their business.
At Legendary Custom Signs & Graphics our mission is to offer and deliver excellence in signage to every single one of our customers. As busy entrepreneurs, business managers, marketing professionals, fleet managers or other customers with signage needs, the last thing you want is to stress over these needs.
